Ingredient information
Greek yogurt - A perfect base, you could alternatively use your milk of choice. Including breast milk or formula, for an ultra-creamy pudding-like texture.
Blueberries - You could use fresh berries such as strawberries or raspberries instead of blueberries.
Peanut butter - You could use almond butter or hazelnut butter instead. (For best results use chia seeds).
Chia seeds - Thick chia pudding would work the same with ground oats if you wanted an oat base pudding.
Serving suggestion
This thick chia pudding is perfect as a stand alone breakfast, or healthy treat, A great meal prep recipe! Best enjoyed, first thing! You could serve alongside strawberries and raspberries too!
Storage instructions
The blueberry chia seed pudding can be kept in the fridge in an airtight container or mason jars for up to 3 days.
Alternatively the chia seed pudding can be frozen in freezer bags or in an airtight container in small batches, for up to 3 months. You can double the recipe to make a big batch of chia seed pudding.
To defrost the chia seed pudding all you will need to do is leave in the fridge overnight to thaw in an airtight container.
Once defrosted the chia seed pudding will not be able to be re frozen.

Kilner Jar medium - These Kilner kids glass jars with a chunky silicone lid are ideal for storing homemade baby food. They are fridge, freezer and microwave safe.
Kilner jar small - These are snack sized glass pots with easy push-on silicone lids which are water tight and leak-proof making them ideal for carrying light bites and snacks on-the-go.
Nutri Bullet - I have found a blender to be an invaluable tool in the preparation of many of my baby led weaning recipes.
Recipe | Chia Seed Pudding
Ingredients
Makes 2 jars
10 tablespoons Greek yogurt
Handful blueberries
2 teaspoons smooth 100% peanut butter
8-10 teaspoons chia seeds
Instructions
Place your Greek yogurt into a nutri bullet or food processor. Add in the blueberries and blend until smooth
Add in the chia seeds, give it a good stir and set aside. Leave for at least 10-15 minutes if you would like to eat straight away.
Take your jars and using a teaspoon of peanut butter, run it around the top of the inside of the jar, it should start to run down the inside of the jar.
Spoon your chia seed pudding mix into the jars, eat straight away if the consistency is thick and creamy. Or simply leave in the fridge overnight, for the next morning or next day. or any day of the week, within storing guidelines.

You can make this chia seed pudding vegan by using a plant based coconut yogurt. If you did not have yogurt you could use, whole milk, oat milk or coconut milk instead.
