Table of Contents
When was the last time you ate kale?
I know this may not be your usual go to vegetable but next time you’re in the supermarket you must pick some up!
The good news is kale is not too expensive either so the cost is similar to your usual veggie costs.
I personally like kale in a salad, but I know if I give a kale salad to my 2 year old son I am pretty sure he would hand it back to me!
This is why these kale krisps are great! They are great as a snack, or used as a meal topper! What I mean as a meal topper is using the kale krisps to sprinkle over your meal! Such a great way to get some extra nutrients added into the meal!
Give these krisps a try they are so tasty and a great snack for all the family!
Ingredient information
Kale - Packed full of vitamins and minerals , kale is so tasty and often missed out as part of a meal!
Olive oil - You could use some avocado oil instead of olive oil if you prefer.
Garlic powder - You could leave this out if garlic is not your favourite food flavouring!
Mixed herbs - So tasty with kale and often what you will have in the store cupboard!
Serving suggestion
These are great served on their own as a snack, they could also be sprinkled over any dinner choice as an added texture or crunch! This is really fun, especially if you wanted to get a few more greens into your family’s diet! Total game changer!
Storage instructions
The kale krisps can be kept in an airtight container in a dry store cupboard for up to 5 days. You could also keep them in the fridge if you would like but this is not necessary.

Give it a mix and lay the kale onto a baking sheet. Space it out a bit.
Pop into the oven for 15 minutes.
Leave to cool before you and your little ones eat.

Recipe notes
You could try this recipe using cabbage thinly sliced, this would work out well, it will not turn out as crispy as the kale but it will be a good snack for all the family!
